Australia's Cup by WhippetWild Australia's Cup by WhippetWild
So I read about the "Australia Cup" which was like the Australian version of an FA Cup, where the top club teams from various states played each other to be "Australian Champion" rather than, 'just' State Champions of Football (soccer). It existed from 1962 to 1968 and then disappeared for many many years.

In 2011, it was discovered by a group of builders in rubbish while doing renovations at the Hakoah Club in Sydney (two times and last thus 1968 champions) FFA (Football Federation Australia) were contacted about its safe keeping and to give possession to them. The FFA were not interested. :o

So, now in my WWU (WhippetWildUniverse), England Sport has decided to purchase the trophy, when it went to auction. Now Australia expecting it to go to a private Australian investor, were very shocked to see the trophy in possession of their Frenemies, England.

So now, it will be competed between the two nations but, not nations themselves but, their regions and states, similar to how the revamped "World Club Trophy" for Rugby has. Or even like the Ashes, themselves.

England "Look what I have!".
Australia "Give back me trophee mate".
England "You did not want it".
Australia "Yeah but, that was before I knew you were interested in it".
England "Play you for it".
Australia "Really? Play you for something which is mine?"
England "No, play me for something which WAS yours until I purchased in in one of YOUR auction shows".
Australia "I hate you" -_-
England "Yes, but without me, you would be lonely".
Australia "....true... Fine. You daft POME!"
England "Excellent".

Oh that is indeed cool.
And yes, I know of your world racing tournament.

I wonder if you know of that crash last week in Formula 4, and the 17 year old driver?
Poor guy, his view was blocked, and he saw the stationary car too late, and crashed into the back of it. He has now had both legs amputated.

Yes, Billy Monger.

I can indeed have a go but, it may not be as highly detailed.
We have not worked on anything together yet, to my knowledge or memory.
