Casper the ghost carp

This is a pet my grandmother used to have.
We used to own him then when he got too big for our tank, we put him in a clean plastic rubbish bin, half filled with water, then transferred him 250 miles to the north, to my grandmothers home, and he lived up there for maybe eight years until he outgrew three tanks, and was traded with two other fish with a place which keeps large koi fish.
