Fancott work

It is winter time, the railway is closed to the public but, it does not mean things are not active. The Fancott Miniature Railway crew hard at work, leveling the track, and moving up three tons of gravel (Three tons was ordered), and then using wheelbarrows and shovels to move it around the track, it was put in the more barron or sleeper open areas of the railway. We did have a gravel moving truck but, it was destroyed in the fire of 2015.
You can see the new gravel (looks pink) and the previous or pre-work gravel (grey or black).
We did all down this.. Oh yes, this is the famous Fancott hill, which has taken the reputation of many an engine.
The pink gravel does down this hill, round the S-bend where I had my accident, and off towards the miniature village or toy town.
